ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is an Anchor Day with A electives for 6th graders.

From Ms. Riley:Hear ye, Hear ye! All ye Yellowjacket Kings, Queens, Knights and Nobles. Thou hast been summoned to join us in the royal theater to be delighted by players of our court. Thine minds will be blown by the performance of ShakesPLOSION by Andrew Geha. The royal festivities will take place on 3rd and 4th day of November and commence at 6:30pm. Tickets are $5 and can be procured before the show.  Come see the Fall Play, ShakesPLOSION by Andrew Geha, on November 3rd and 4th at 6:30. Tickets are $5 and can be bought at the door! We hope to see you all there. It’s going to be a wild epic ride.

From Ms. Dunbar and Ms. Waring: Attention Reading Buddies: all permission forms are due back TOMORROW. You can bring them to the Library any time during the day. Our first meeting will be this Friday, in Room 270, after school. If you are someone who depends on riding the late bus home, please come see me in the Library during TA sometime this week.

From Ms. Payne The staff Halloween costume contest results are in …. congratulations to Ms. Mann, the individual costume contest winner. And congratulations to Ms. Leonberger and Mr. De Bruyn, the group costume winners.

From Coach Sam Yesterday Kenmore middle school played the TJ boys ultimate frisbee team for their final game of the season. The yellowjackets won with a score of 11 to 4. The 8th grade plus Liam team finished the season with an undefeated record of 5 and 0. They have won every game this year. Congratulations to the boys for another championship season for ultimate frisbee. Great job yellowjackets! Announcements will be made for the end of the season celebration.The girls ultimate frisbee team will play their final game today at Dorothy Hamm Middle School. The girls team must meet in the gold side of the cafeteria immediately after school. The bus will leave promptly at 2:40pm, don’t be late!

From Ms. Wall:If you remembered to bring in your overdue library books, please return them to the Library right after the announcements!

From Ms. E. Shepardson:Calling all artists!  Deadlines are approaching for two popular art contests.The first is “The Latino Youth Leadership Poster Contest” the deadline is November 4.The Second is the “Martin Luther King Jr. Literary & Visual Arts Contest”, the deadline is November 18.Submission forms and information are available on the bulletin board outside the art room. Or see Ms. E. Shepardson for details.
