Start Reading ebooks and e-audiobooks from the Jefferson Library

Jefferson has a large collection of free ebooks and e-audiobooks to check out, download to your devices, and enjoy. There are 2 different companies that provide us with digital books and audiobooks. Destiny Discover digital books are searchable in the Library Catalog, but you need to search Sora separately. Digital books that used to be in MackinVIA have been transferred to Sora. Ask Ms. Wall or Ms. Z for help or simply start playing a bit:

To log in to Destiny Discover:

Select Virginia for your location. Then start typing Jefferson Middle School (in Arlington, VA) and select it. Click on the blue bar and then Login. Log in with MyAccess. Your checkouts will appear. Tap “Downloads” to find what you’ve checked out.

To log in to Sora for ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines:

Select Arlington Public Schools. Sign in using APS. Log in with MyAccess.

Explore the Collections or Search. Your checkouts will be in your Shelf.

To log in to the Comics Plus app:

Download app from Self Service.

Select Access through your MackinVia

School/Library Name: Jefferson Middle School, Arlington, VA

Select blue Log In button. Log in with APS MyAccess.

Select Comics Plus under Databases–app will open.
