Welcome to Thomas Jefferson Middle School!

Our Parent Teacher Association engages and supports TJMS students and staff with a variety of programs and activities to make our school community the best it can be. How to Get Involved

  1. Join the PTA  Join online, in person at any PTA meeting, or by completing a membership form and turning it into the main office. Membership is $10 for teachers and $15 for families. A portion of your dues go to pay for national, state, and county PTA dues, but the majority of supports Jefferson activities.
  2. Keep up with PTA and TJMS news.

  3. Volunteer! The PTA invites parents (or grandparents or other guardians) to help with events including the Harvest Festival, honor roll celebrations, garden days, picture day, International Night, Teacher Appreciation Week, Booktopia, the Used Book Sale, and more. Fill out the volunteer interest form when you join the PTA or email PTA President David Priddy to let us know how you’d like to help. We will send out Sign-Up Genius links throughout the year to invite you to volunteer for specific events.We especially need volunteers to help with our Harvest Festival, Reflections, fundraising, communications, APS Advisory Committee on Instruction, CCPTA, teacher/staff appreciation, 8th grade promotion,  Booktopia book giveaway and used book sale, and IB Service As Action. CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS: OPEN PTA POSITIONS 2019-20
