Hello, my name is Irma De Leon. I'm the Bilingual Family Specialist for Thomas Jefferson Middle School. This will be my third year at the school, my sixteenth year with Arlington Public Schools. I’m also the proud mother of two very successful young adults, a product of Arlington Public Schools. My role at the school is to be the bridge between the families and the staff. I'm very happy and look forward to working with our families toward empowerment and the success of our students. Hello, my name is Miguel Marcelino. I was born in the Dominican Republic, and I came to Virginia with my family the fall of 1995 and have lived in Virginia since then. I am married with three kids, and currently work at Thomas Jefferson middle school as a Family Bilingual Specialist. I decided to go back to school to pursue a passion in the field of Psychology. Once I complete my degree I would like to continue working with students and young adults with mental health challenges. Helping others has always been my passion. *Awarded APS All Star
