ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is a B Day.

From your PTA:Please mark your calendar for our next Restaurant night at Pupatella Pizzeria (1621 S. Walter Rd. Dr.) on Tuesday January 24th, 11:30 am to 9pm.  Pupatella will donate 20% of all participating orders to raise funds for PTA programs that benefit our school community. Please don’t forget to mention Thomas Jefferson Middle School PTA when you order.

From Ms. Burton:It’s No Calling Week and here’s the Fact of the day:Did you know? Name calling often occurs in jokes. Kids and adults alike may tease one another by making up silly nicknames for each other or call each other names almost out of friendship or affection. When name calling is meant with malicious intent, it is always considered bullying. Choose Kindness!

From Ms. Burton:If you are interested in taking ACT II classes for the 2nd semester, please pick up a form today from the ACT II teacher OR the counseling suite. ACT II will start on Feb. 6th.

From Ms. Dunbar & Ms. Waring:Reading Buddies will meet again this Friday, and every Friday for the following five weeks. If you signed up and keep meaning to come, NOW is the time to get started!We meet in Room 270 right after school on Fridays.

From Ms. Wall:TAB Club meets today during lunches.  Use the pass in the TAB Canvas course to get lunch quickly.  Bring your iPad, and come hear about this year’s All-TAB author visit. The Library is closed after school today for a staff meeting.

From Ms. Holland:ATTENTION ALL SCIENCE FAIR PARTICIPANTS.          This is a friendly reminder that the TJMS Science Fair will be January 19, 2023.  All sections and documents had to be uploaded on the Scienceteer website by January 13, 2023. In addition, ALL science fair boards were due January 13.
