ANNOUNCEMENTS Today is a B Day.

 From Mr. Carter: Do you like solving hard problems? Do you want to see a math teacher struggle to answer questions? Want to know more about Math Counts competition? Come to Math Counts today after school in room 255.

Now here’s a special announcement: Picture day is Thursday, September 21st. Students will receive a “camera card” in TA on Thursday Morning that you will hand to the photographer when they take their picture. If you do not receive a camera card, you can fill out a blank one once you get to the theater. The schedule will be sent out on Tuesday Afternoon to staff and parents. Also, buy your yearbook today for its lowest price of $35. Use the QR code on the TJMS website, canvas, or parent square to purchase. Thank you.

From Coach Sam:Yesterday the girls ultimate team travelled to Gunston Middle School for the first game of the season. The yellow jackets won with a score of 4-2. Great work, girls! See you at practice today. First home game is tomorrow against Swanson. If you are interested in playing ultimate frisbee, it is not too late to join. Come to practice today! We will be on the lower field.

From Ms. Wall: Study is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school in the Library. If you would like a quiet place to get your homework done before you go home, please come to the Library right after school and sign in.  A teacher will be here to help, and the Library is open until 3:30pm.  You can walk home or get picked up then, or you can then go wait for the late bus in the commons with Mr. Siegel.
