Jefferson is unique amongst Arlington middle schools insofar as we serve some of the most materially wealthy families in the county as well as those that are often right on the edge of being able to make things work.  The beautiful thing is that many of these economic gulfs seem to evaporate when the kids come into school.  With this situation in mind, we annually try to match families and individuals who would be interested in giving with those families who would be financially unable to have a traditional holiday season.  Typically, “angel” families are provided with a modest wish list and sizes, etc. and bring the gifts to school.  If this is something that you would be interested in, please email Dante Hicks, Director of Counseling, at dante.hicks@apsva.us
