Today is an Anchor Day with B electives for 6th graders.

From Ms. Dunbar & Ms. Waring:Reading Buddies meets this Friday! We will be reading with Ms. Clark’s 2nd grade class.Remember: there are no late buses on Fridays, so you will need to plan your own way home.

From Dr. Nolan:Good morning 7th graders! Please take a look at the Field Trip Lunch Form that is in today’s announcement in the 7th Grade TA Canvas course. All 7th graders should complete this form today. Thanks.

From Ms. Wall and Ms Rosegrant…and probably every teacher in this school:Please check your Canvas messages and Announcements every day!  Important information is sent to you through Canvas, and you need to know what is happening!Have you checked Canvas yet today? TAB Club meets today during lunches in the Library.  Bring your iPad and lunch.  Check the TAB Canvas course for a pass. The Library is closed after school today for a meeting.

From Ms. Russo:Join us for kickball after school today on the baseball field from 2:45-3:30! Ms. Russo won’t be able to join this time, but you will be in good hands. And we need more girls—c’mon girls, come show them what you’re made of!  Listen this afternoon in case of a weather update.

From the Yearbook staff:Good Morning TJ, This is a reminder that this Friday December 2nd is our final picture day. The Schedule will be sent out in a canvas message.  Also, 8th grade students please make sure you have filled out the 8th grade superlative nominations. From Ms. T and Ms. Tyler:If you are a musician who would like to learn how to music in jazz style, sign up for the Jefferson Jazz Band!The Jazz Band is open to experienced musicians–you already need to know how to play an instrument to start. ANY student who plays guitar, bass, or piano may join. Students who play brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments are also encouraged to join, but you must already be in band with Ms. T to be in jazz band. The Jazz Band Information Session is THIS THURSDAY, December 1 from 2:40pm-4pm. Meet Ms. Tyler (our Jazz Band director), learn more about Jazz Band, and play through the audition music. Bring your instrument and good vibes with you!
