Today is an A Day.
From Ms. Wall and Ms. Rosegrant:TAB Club meets today during lunches. Use the TAB pass in our Canvas course to get lunch quickly and come meet in the Library.
Now here’s a special announcement:Hey there! Ms. Wall here.I have two things to share this morning:
First: Happy March! March is a great time of the year for a couple of reasons. There’s college basketball. And it’s time for our Battle of the Books. Your reading teachers and your library folks have come up with a bracket of 16 great books that we want you to learn about. Starting next Monday (March 6th) with the left half of our bracket and then continuing on Fridays throughout March, the TA lessons will introduce you to pairs of books with videos and summaries and ask you to vote for your favorite—or the book you’d more like to read. Before spring break we’ll have our Jefferson 2023 Champion!Take a look at the big bracket that’s displayed in the main hall outside the library! Have you read any of the books yet? These books will be available from the library.
Second thing: I want to introduce you to our new second librarian, Ms. Jamie Zehren. She and I will be working together to help you find great books and with everything in the Library. Come by and say hello!
From Mr. Banach, Ms. Gomez, and Ms. T:All Band, Orchestra, and Chorus students who are in full year music classes should report to the theatre immediately for the Spring Trip Kickoff Assembly. Please bring all of your materials with you, as you will go directly to 1st period after the assembly.

Overdue notices will be given to TA teachers later this week to be shared during conferences. If you know you have an overdue library book, please return it or renew it in the Library now so you won’t have to have that conversation during your conference!
