ANNOUNCEMENTS
Today is an A Day.
From Ms. Burton:“Last week, we learned to recognize bullying in TA. Today, we will we will talk a about an important group of people called bystanders. A bystander is someone who watches something happen without being part of it. People who watch a bullying situation are bystanders. There is a saying that goes, “If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem.” Bystanders give power to the bully by giving a bullying situation their attention. Sometimes they give the bully power by laughing at the victim which only makes the situation worse. Being a bystander of a bullying situation is not okay.
The K-pop club is starting on Monday, October 17, in Mr. Anderson’s classroom, room 266. In the dragon’s area. Again it is in Mr. P Anderson’s room. Meeting every other Monday. If you want to join the K-pop club, please pick up a permission slip from the Library.
