ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is a B Day.

From Ms. T and Ms. Tyler: The Jefferson Jazz Band is starting up soon! We are looking for ANY Jefferson students who play piano, guitar, and bass to join our jazz band! Students who play brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments are also encouraged to join, but you must already be in band with Ms. T to be in jazz band. Auditions are on Monday, December 12 and a sign-up sheet is on the band room door. See Ms. T for more information.

From Ms. Dunbar and Ms. Waring:Reading Buddies: this Friday will be our final meeting before Winter Break. If everyone who signed up comes this week, we’ll be able to read to TWO 2nd grade classes. We meet in Room 270.

From Madame Moran:Do you like to crochet or knit?  Do you want to know how to crochet or knit?  Come to the Crochet Club interest meeting Thursday, December 8 in room 238 right after school.  This is Madame Moran’s room.

From Coach Gavin:Attention wrestlers, we will have a pre-season practice after school today, Tuesday, in the gym. Come out if you are interested in joining the wrestling team. If you can’t make it today, our next pre-season practice will be Thursday.”

“From your TJMS Yearbook staff, due to technical difficulties with the 8th grade superlative form, we have decided to send out a new link. We would like all 8th graders to resubmit their answers. Please remember that you can now only submit one response! 8th grade TA Teachers please have your students fill out the new form! , the link is in the TA canvas course!” 

From Mr. Clark: Our Model UN Club just heard from the sponsor of last weekend’s  MUN conference at Thomas Edison High School.  Two additional students won awards:  Kaya Gadhia and Jaxon Grupenhoff both won a Verbal Commendation for their committee participation. Congratulations again to all our students for their outstanding work!
