Today is a B Day! Here’s a special announcement (Red Ribbon Week)Hi, I am Ms. Taylor, the Substance Abuse Counselor. Tomorrow we start Red Ribbon Week. Our theme is Life is a Movie – Film Drug Free! We hope you will take part in the Spirit Week Themes each day and trivia games in the cafeteria next week!Hi, I am __Maddie Creed_ the SCA _____. Tomorrow, on Wednesday, Oct 23rd our theme for the day for spirit week is: Drugs aren’t Fetch! Wednesdays we wear PINK  Here’s a special announcement (drama):Hi!  I’m ___, and I’m ___. How do you put on a play without putting on a play? Plays are stressful and time consuming- auditions, memorizing lines, building sets, finding costumes.  What if you could do a play without any of those hard parts?  Come see Everything But, Jefferson’s fall play! Tuesday the 22nd and Wednesday the 23rd at 6:30pm. Tuesday night will be ASL interpreted. Tickets are $5 and can be bought at the door.  From Mr. Carter:Math Counts will meet in Mr. Carter’s room, room number 255, today, Tuesday October 22nd after school. Come if you are interested in participating in a math competition later this year!  From Ms. Leonberger:“The TJMS GSA is back! Come to Ms. Leonberger’s room, room 219,  after school on Thursday, October 24th to hang out and discuss issues and topics related to our LGBTQ+ community. All are welcome!”  From Coaches de Bruyn and Curran- Boys Soccer tryouts continue this week. 7th grade today, 6th grade tomorrow, and call backs on Thursday the 24th.   Here’s another Special announcement: Hi everyone, it’s Avery and Kaitlyn, here to talk about Spooky Book Speed Dating, happening this Friday, October 25th, in the Library from 2:35-3:30. Looking for a new scary story? This is the event for you! Make sure to RSVP with Ms. Z in the Library by this Thursday. There are only 24 spots, and they’re already half gone! Come talk to Ms. Z if you have any questions.   From the PTA – The PTA reflections contest has begun. The theme this year is “accepting imperfection”. Entries are due October 31st and should be turned in to Ms. Detweiler in room 221. The categories are visual arts, dance choreography, literature, film production, photography and music composition. Again, the theme is “accepting imperfection”. Let’s have some fun with this contest!
