We still need 15 students to sign up for this club. Topics include: Friendship, Belonging, and Racial Inequity. The teacher will be Ashley Hammond Managing Director and Educational Theatre Company at ETC Devising Hope. We hope to see you there!
From Ms. T:Saxophones, trumpets, trombones and more —this one’s for you!Join us for the Jazz Band Wind Instruments interest meeting on Wednesday, October 22nd, from 2:40 to 3:30 PM in Room 125.Directed by Mr. Whichard, this group is all about high-energy jazz and fun!Note: Woodwind and brass players must be enrolled in a TJMS band class to participate in Jazz Band. 6th graders should check with Ms. T before joining.

From Mr. Clark:Morning TJMS,Our JIBMUN Club began our Model UN conference season in Bethesda, MD. Last Saturday, and three of our delegates came home with recognition for their participation. Please congratulate Juwana Ibrahim for her Honorable Mention in committee, and Genna Divett and Harper Horneman for their Verbal Commendation in their committees! from Ms. Dunbar:Reading Buddies will begin on November 7th. This is a Friday afternoon club that runs from early November to early March. We will be reading with Fleet 1st graders again this year. Permission forms will be available in the Library soon.
