Join us for Unity Day activities today during lunch in the cafeteria! Now here’s Ms. Riley: From Ms. Green:Good morning!Attention Cheerleaders:Cheer practice will be held in the back area of the gym today. Please be on time.From Coaches de Bruyn and Curran- Boys Soccer tryouts will be next week. 8th grade on Monday the 21st, 7th grade on Tuesday the 22nd, 6th grade on Wednesday the 23rd, and call backs will be Thursday the 24th. Students who want to scrimmage for practice can play after school on the upper field Thursday the 17th of October. “From Coach Vogel and Coach Leonberger: Thank you to all the Yellow Jacket tennis players who came to the countywide doubles tournament yesterday at Wakefield. And a special congrats to the following students for winning their first round matches and progressing to the quarter-finals: Alina Jarkowski. Sophie Meyer, Vicente Bermudez, Valentino Bermudez, Reid Koslofsky, and AJ Townes. Good morning Yellow Jackets, I am Aaron, and I am Henry. We are here to talk about our community service project called “save the soldiers.” These soldiers are dying for our freedom but they aren’t getting the daily comforts we all enjoy. We will have a “whatever we will call it” after school on Thursday the 31st. We will be collecting things Such as food and toiletries. Come after school near “the rec center” where you can donate in my minivan. Make a difference, the military members will thank you. We look forward to seeing you there.  From the PTA – The PTA reflections contest has begun. The theme this year is “accepting imperfection”. Entries are due October 31st and should be turned in to Ms. Detweiler in room 221. The categories are visual arts, dance choreography, literature, film production, photography and music composition. Again, the theme is “accepting imperfection”. Let’s have some fun with this contest!
