From Ms. Dunbar:Garden Club returns this week. Ms. Leonberger will be outside with us this week to work on compost, and yes… we still have beans and okra to harvest! We will continue meeting through the month of October. Also from Ms. Dunbar:Reading Buddies will begin on November 7th. This is a Friday afternoon club that runs from early November to early March. We will be reading with Fleet 1st graders again this year. Permission forms will be available in the Library beginning next week.

From Mr. Busby,Boys basketball tryouts continue today for 7th and 8th grade. Tryouts will start at 2:45 and go to 4:00. If you are trying out, please wear the proper clothing and sneakers.
From Coach Detweiler and Coach Ammon – Girls soccer tryouts are next week. 6th grade will be on Tuesday, October 21st, and 7th and 8th grade will be on Wednesday, October 22nd. All levels of players are welcome and encouraged to try out!
