Today is an Anchor Day Early Release schedule!

From Mr. Clark: Good Friday morning TJMS!The JIBMUN Club is ending our Model UN school year with exciting news! JIBMUN will be hosting our very FIRST Model UN conference here at Thomas Jefferson on Saturday! We now belong to a very select group of middle schoolers who host such events for all schools in the DMV. Please wish our entire JIBMUN Club good luck on the inaugural conference!For those students and faculty who would like to know what exactly is Model UN, come join us tomorrow at 9:30am for the Opening Ceremony in the Auditorium.Finally, congratulations to Kidus Behailu., Khalid Yimer, and Meerub Rana for taking home awards from the Washington-Liberty High School MUN conference this past Saturday!Good luck JIBMUN Club on your inaugural conference!

Here’s a special announcement:Hello, I am Anthony and this is yasslen Today we want to talk to you about adopting dogs Did you know that dogs are left in the shelter for years and dog shelter would have to euthanize them if they didn’t get adopted Let us introduce you to rock, derby and edmond theses are the longest dogs that have been in the animal shelter You can make a difference! You should adopt them or tell your family and friends you can have a 3 days trial with the derby that means you can take care of him for 3 days and see if he’s a right fit for you and rock and Edmond is free to adopt

From Ms. Rotchford:Congrats to the Jefferson Swim Team for wrapping up a great season yesterday at the county-wide meet.Special shout out to-Colleen Bett, 3rd place in 25 backstroke-Amelia MacIvor, 2nd Place in 50 backstroke and 1st place in 100 IM-Peter Madigan, 2nd Place in 25 freestyle, and 1st place in both the 50 and 100 freestyle Stay tuned for end of season celebrations!
