From Ms. Wall:Two important announcements:First:  Overdue library books.  We have 241 overdue library books to get back as soon as possible.  6th graders have out119 books.  7th graders still have 50 books.  And 8th graders need to return 72 books.  If you remembered your books today, please return them during TA after the announcements.  If you have questions about your library record, please come talk with us in the library today.

Second:  If you are interested in being part of the morning announcements next year, you need to plan now.  Come get an application today (if you don’t have one already).  Fill it out, get the signatures you need, and return it to the Library by this Thursday afternoon.  Auditions will be Thursday afternoon, but see Ms. Wall before then if you can’t make it then.  Other questions?  Ask us in the Library or send Ms. Wall a Canvas message today!

Here’s another special announcement:Preston: Hi, I’m Preston, the SCA PresidentChase: Hi I’m Chase, the SCA Vice-President.Preston: We are here today to give you the results of Student Council Elections. Chase: First up, our 6th graders running for 7th Grade Level Representatives. Out of 12 candidates, our top six winners are: Preston: Next we have our 7th graders running for 8th Grade Level Representative. We had three candidates for four positions, all three nominees won: Chase: Now for Secretary, we had six students running for one position. The winner needed to get a majority of the votes. After 5 rounds of ranked choice voting, our new Secretary is:Preston: For Treasurer, we had six students running for one position. The winner needed to get a majority of the votes. After 5 rounds of ranked choice voting, our new Treasurer is:Chase: For Vice President, again we had six students running for one position. The winner needed to get a majority of the votes.
