From the Wakefield High School Crew Team Boosters: The Wakefield Crew team is having a fundraiser today from 5 to 8pm at the Silver Diner at the corner of King and Beauregard streets in Alexandria (just a short walk from Wakefield). 20% of all proceeds will go to funding the Wakefield Crew team. Team members will help waiters, and Wakefield spirit gear will be for sale.

HBCU Pride Week, which runs from Feb. 12-17.
