From Ms. Dunbar, Ms. Waring, and Ms. Ayoub: Reading Buddies meets TODAY, in Room 260, right after school. Hope to see you there!
From Dr. Woody-Pope: Good morning students, Starting this Friday, December 1st: if you arrive to school or TA after the 7:50 AM bell you are late. Once the 7:50 bell rings, if you are either in the hallway OR just arriving to school, you will need to go to the TJMS lobby to sign-in. Once late students sign in, they will receive a late slip and must report directly to TA/TA Flex. Students: your daily attendance is monitored. Make sure to get to school and all classes on time. Consequences are issued for repeated tardies. If you need help getting to class or school on-time you may speak with your grade level counselor or other trusted adult.
From Mr. Appanah: Students: There are a lot of lost clothes, water bottles, and more on the lost and found shelves in the cafeteria. Please come look for and pick up your lost items today!
From Ms. Burton: “This is a reminder that girls mentorship program will be meeting on Monday after school. We can’t wait to see you there!”
Here’s a special announcement: Hello I am Mia Muniz Diaz the SCA President and I am Preston Brent the SCA Vice President. We’re here to talk to you about our first school dance and our Candy Cane sales. Starting on Monday December 4 to December 12 we will be selling Candy grams that you get for a friend, teacher, or special someone for a $1 during lunch. You will be able to choose from one of four messages and write your own message too. The candy grams will be delivered on Wednesday, December 20. Our first Jefferson Dance of the school year will be Tuesday, December 19 in the back of the gym from 2:45-4:05pm. We will have food, drinks and music. Dress will causal and will be selling tickets on Thursday and Friday, December 13-14 during lunch for $1 Get a candy gram and buy a ticket to the dance. Thank you! From Ms. Wall: Study Hall is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school in the Library. If you would like a quiet place to get your homework done before you go home, please come to the Library right after school and sign in. A teacher will be here to help, and the Library is open until 3:30pm. You can walk home or get picked up then, or you can then go wait for the late bus in the commons with Mr. Siegel
