Today is a B Day!

Here’s a special announcement:(SCA something)

From Ms. Russo:Hi, Everyone! Do you wish you had room for another elective class in your schedule? Sign up for an ACT II class! These are elective classes you can take after school. You should have received an ACT II form in TA, or you can pick up another copy by the counseling offices. Please return your ACT II form to Ms. Russo, Program Counselor, by Tuesday, September 3rd. ACT II classes start on September 9th!

From Ms. Wall:School has started, but there’s still time to finish your summer reading challenge from the Arlington Public Library and collect your prizes.If you’ve already registered and have read for a minimum of 21 days this summer, go to any Arlington Public Library by Tuesday, September 3rd to collect a voucher for 2 tickets to go see a Washington Nationals baseball game and get a free book.  The Friends of the Arlington Library will also donate $1 in your name to the Outdoor Lab!Talk with us in the Jefferson Library if you have questions.

Now here’s Ms. Leonberger: From Coach Vogel and Coach Leonberger: “The Tennis season is starting! 8th grade tryouts will be after school on Tuesday, September 3rd, 7th grade tryouts will be after school on Wednesday, September 4th, and 6th grade tryouts will be after-school on Thursday, September 5th! Dress for the weather! We will have a few spare rackets available but bring your own if you have one.”

Remember that there is no school Friday or Monday for the Labor Day holiday.  We’ll see you back on Tuesday, September 3rd!
