It also serves as areminder that we are all empowered with shaping the communities around us throughpositivity, bravery and strength. Tomorrow is “Family Face Off: Drugs Free Show Down” BBQ Dad vs Soccer mom. We can’t wait to see your creativity. ”

From Ms. Dunbar, Ms. Waring, and Ms. Ayoub: Reading Buddies is back for 2023-24!If you are interested in joining Reading Buddies, please pick up a permission form in the Library. We start our Friday visits to Fleet Elementary First Grade on Friday, November 3rd and continue through the end of February. Reading Buddies is a fun and relaxing way to end the week. Consider joining us!

Now here’s a special announcement: From your PTA: TJMS PTA Restaurant Night with Pupatella (5104 Wilson Blvd) is tomorrow,Tuesday October 24, 2023, from 11:30 am – 9 pm.Pupatella Pizzeria is donating 20% of all participating orders (dine-in,takeout, and pickup orders) to raise funds for PTA programs thatbenefit our school community.When placing your order, mention Thomas Jefferson Middle School PTA,and we will get 20% of your meal’s price donated back!

From Mr. J Anderson: Good Morning TJMS, Make Up picture day is tomorrow, Tuesday, October 24th! If you would like to retake your picture, please join us. Unfortunately, there is a list of students who must retake their picture due to a lighting issue. If this issue affected you, your parents/guardians should have received an email. From Ms. Wall:Study Hall is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school in the Library. If you would like a quiet place to get your homework done before you go home, please come to the Library right after school and sign in.  A teacher will be here to help, and the Library is open until 3:30pm.  You can walk home or get picked up then, or you can then go wait for the late bus in the commons with Mr. Siegel.
