From Coach Sam and Coach Curran The boys ultimate frisbee team will have their first game at Gunston Middle School today.  

From Ms. E Shepardson:Art Club begins today!  Art Club is a drop-in club where you can relax with your friends and make some art. Materials are provided, the inspiration is up to you. Art Club is every Monday from 2:30 – 3:30.See you there.

From Mr. Clark:Good morning TJMS!This is Mr. Clark again and I am reminding all those who are interested Jefferson’s Model United Nations Club to come to our weekly meeting today after classes let out. You can find my room in front of the cafeteria, room 80.If you like to problem solve, communicate with others, and develop or improve your IB skills while learning about global issues, then come to room #80 today and join our club. See you after school today!

From Ms. Egbert:”Do you enjoy reading manga? Are you really into anime? Would you like a space to share these interests with your fellow Yellowjackets? If so, join the Anime Club! We meet on Fridays in room 234 from 2:40 to 3:40. This Friday, we will be voting on what series we want to watch or read this year. All are welcome!”

Great news!! Los Chamacos Restaurant (922 S Walter Rd. Dr) has partnered with Thomas Jefferson Middle School PTA for Restaurant Night tomorrow, Tuesday September 20th from 9am to 10pm!

Los Chamacos will donate 15% of all participating orders to raise funds for PTA programs that benefit our school community.

Dine in or order takeout – whatever works for your family. Just don’t forget to mention “Thomas Jefferson Middle School PTA fundraiser” when you place your order to ensure your meal is included in the fundraiser.

Third-party delivery apps (like Grubhub and Doordash) are NOT participating in this fundraiser.

From Ms. Wall: Study hall starts for real today after school in the Library.  Every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday students can come right after school to get help with your homework.  Subject teachers will be there to make sure you understand your assignments and to help you.  Sign in at the counter. Study hall ends at 3:30pm.  You can get picked up, walk home, or wait downstairs for the late bus!
