December 5, 2025 Morning Announcements

Now here’s a special announcement: Our building needs work, and there are many ways that you can make your voice heard! We are asking everyone to choose one of the following three options.

Option 1: Write a letter by Thursday, December 11th to Dr. Duran, the APS Superintendent, or the APS School Board. In this letter, express the reasons why our building does not meet the needs of our students.

: If you choose the letter, make sure you finish it properly! It needs a date at the top, a greeting that says “Dear APS School Board Members,” your message, and a closing signature with your name and grade level at the bottom.

You can write this out on notebook paper OR ask your TA teacher to print it so you can sign it. Once it is signed, send your letter to Ms. T in Room 125 or drop it off at the Main Office at the end of TA!

Option 2 is to make a written comment to the School Board, also by December 11th. This should be a 100-200 word comment explaining exactly why we need a new school building, or at least major renovations.

Option 3: If you are comfortable speaking up, write a short speech, 2 minutes or less, and plan to speak at the School Board Meeting on Thursday, December 18th.: Let’s come together and make sure the county knows that TJMS deserves the best facilities possible.
