From Ms. Dunbar, Ms. Waring, and Ms. Ayoub:Reading Buddies meets today. Come to Room 260 in the 7th grade area after dismissal, with your backpack, etc. We will relax for 15 minutes before going over to Fleet to read. Or at least a much improved, renovated school. But we need your help. Students, we need your help in making either written or spoken comments to the school board by Thursday, November 13.
Ms. Moncrieffe-Heath: I have family and friends in Jamaica who have just been devastated by Hurricane Melissa that brought 185 mile per hour winds, floods and landslides to the island. It’s going to take months for the island to recover. And we want help as an IB school and because it’s the right thing to do.
Zoe: Here’s what we can do as a whole school. We will partner with Food for the Poor, a Jamaican non-profit organization that is working to help people who were hurt or made homeless by the hurricane.
