For tomorrow, Friday, October 31, the theme for the Day is Spook out Drugs – Costume DayRemember no masks or anything that looks like a weapon with your costume. Have fun and thank you for participating in our Red Ribbon Spirit Week Days!  

From the Library:The day you’ve all been waiting for! Today is the first Library Craft Day of the year. Come to the library with your lunch and make an adorable spider. Listen to music and chat with friends while creating your craft. See you at lunch!

From Ms. Dunbar:Garden Club Members, we are winding down the garden this Friday. Please drop by for a little while, even if you have to hurry home to get ready for Halloween.

From Ms. Dunbar, Ms. Waring, and Ms. Ayoub:Reading Buddies begins on Friday, November 7th. You need a signed and returned permission form in order to participate. Forms are still available in the Library and can be turned in to the Library. We will be reading with Fleet Elementary 1st graders.

Now here’s a special announcement:Jeveesh: We are here to talk about the Virginia Elections happening now with early voting and ending on election day Tuesday, November 4. We don’t have school on this day because people will be voting at the Thomas Jefferson Rec Center between 6am and 7pm. Henry: At TJMS, we will be voting school-wide for every office on the Virginia ballot on Monday, November 3. In today’s TA lesson, there is a document in which you can learn about each candidate. Today we will hear about the candidates for state wide office.
