From Ms. Holland-Shuford: Hey science fair participants!If you want to stay after school for help, make sure you sign up by 1:00 p.m. on the day you want to stay. There aren’t many spots, so if you don’t sign up, you might not be able to stay.
From Ms. Wall:TAB Club starts Wednesday. Please join us tomorrow during your lunch in the Library if you are interested in joining our school’s book club. Ask in the library if you have questions.

Want to jam with a fun, high-energy group?Come check out the Jefferson Jazz Band, directed by Mr. Whichard!Interest meetings are coming up—ask Ms. T in the band room for details!Note: Wind, percussion, and bass players must already be enrolled in a TJMS music class. - Please return your manga and graphic novels to the Library! We have many students waiting for the first volume of a book, and a long list of holds. If you are done with your manga or graphic novel, return it ASAP!
- The first Library Movie Night will be Friday, October 17th after school from 2:45-4:45. We will be watching the new live action How to Train Your Dragon. Please RSVP with Ms. Z in the Library. Remember, there is no late bus on Fridays!
From Mr. Busby, Boys basketball tryouts start on October 14th for 6th grade and October 15th for 7th and 8th grade. Tryouts will start at 2:45 and go to 4:00. If you are trying out, please wear the proper clothing and sneakers. ”

Special congrats to Blair Koslofsky for winning in girls singles, Ayush Nigal for winning in boys singles, Lea Komlodi and Elsie Grignon for winning in girls doubles, Tennyson Crouch and Valentino Bermudez for winning in boys doubles and Mana Telman and Zeke Schohn for winning in mixed doubles. Additional congratulations to the following students for winning in their exhibition matches: Anujin Erdenebaatar, Juwana Ibrahim, Dean Simon, John Detweiler and Luis Delgado Rioja rioja.
