Morning Announcments – September 9, 2024

Today is an A Day!

From Ms. Riley and Ms. Rosegrant: Do you love performing? Have you always wanted to be in a play? Do you enjoy spending a lot of time with the most fun students in school and a couple of the best adults in school too? Come audition for Jefferson’s Fall Play! Auditions will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, September 10 In the theatre after school. Pick up an audition packet from Ms.Riley in the Drama Room (120), or Ms.Rosegrant in the library. Auditions are open to any Jefferson student in any grade. See you tomorrow!

From Ms. Dunbar:Attention Garden Club Members and those of you interested in joining the club: Today in the garden is “Drop-in Monday”. Come help harvest for AFAC and ask all your questions about what we do in Garden Club throughout the school year. Anyone is welcome. Use Door #4 to exit the building or use your normal exit and walk around the theater until you see the Blue Shed.

From Ms. Russo:Hi, Everyone! After announcements are over, please complete the TJMS Student Services Survey linked in your TA lesson. This is very important information for us to gather so we can make sure all the necessary supports are in place for our students. It should only take you a couple of minutes to complete. Thank you for your time, and as always, please check in with your school counselor if you have any concerns or need help with anything!

From Ms. E. Shepardson: Art Club begins today.This is a drop-in program for students who want to hang out and make art with friends. It is not an art class; it is more like an open studio. Come to the art room today after school, Room 61.From

Ms. Jenks:Do you like to knit, crochet, weave, and create fun things with yarn? Would you like to learn how? Then you should come to Fiber Arts Club! We meet today after school in room 239 (Madame Moran’s room). No experience necessary!

From Ms. Egbert:”Are you into anime? Do you like reading manga? Want to share your favorite series with your friends? If so, join Anime Club! Our first meeting is today, September 9th from 2:40 to 3:50 in room 106, near the music hallway. See you there!
