Today is an A Day! From Ms. Russo:ACT II forms need to be returned to Ms. Russo, Program Counselor, today. ACT II classes start on September 9th! From Coach Vogel and Coach Leonberger: “The Tennis season is starting! 8th grade tryouts will be after school today, 7th grade tryouts will be after school on tomorrow, Wednesday, September 4th, and 6th grade tryouts will be after-school on Thursday, September 5th! Dress for the weather! We will have a few spare rackets available but bring your own if you have one.” From Dr. Woody-Pope:For this week, remember we hold our grade level safety assemblies during morning TA.Per the TJMS calendar, they will be, from 8-8:30AM.

- Thursday, Grade 8
For assembly day, TA teacher directions:
- Take attendance & watch morning announcements.
- Wait for your team to be called to the auditorium. We will call teams to the auditorium by teams. For grade 8, we will call by upstairs TA and downstairs TA.
- Escort you TA to the auditorium and sit with them.
From Mr. Clark:Good morning TJMS! The Model UN Club will have our first meeting today after school, in Mr. Clark’s room. Room 80 in front of the cafeteria. For those who were delegates last year, please come. For those who may want to know more about what Model UN is, you are welcome to attend our meeting as well. See everyone after school today in room 80.
