Today is an Anchor Day!

From Ms. Russo:During TA today you will be asked to take a 1-question survey. Please answer this question TODAY! We are working toward making TJMS a place where every student feels like they have at least one adult in the building they can talk to if they need to. This information will let us know how close we are to meeting that goal and what work we still need to do.

8th Graders:

• If you are interested in helping paint the cityscape for the dance, check your 8th Grade TA Canvas Announcements and complete the Google Form today!
• Don’t know what to wear for the 8th Grade dance or Promotion? Come “shop” at lunch or after school next Wednesday, May 29th! More details to come: check your 8th Grade TA Canvas Announcements!

From Ms. Leonberger:“Hello 8th Graders! We know you are ready to take a science SOL on THREE years of content but just in case, we are offering an AFTER-SCHOOL SCIENCE SOL REVIEW SESSION in Ms. Leonberger’s room from 2:40 to 4ish. There will be review game competitions with CANDY prizes and SNACKS ALSO. All 8th graders welcome! Let’s show the Commonwealth of Virginia that we’re the BEST OF THE BEST in science AND ROCK THE SOL!!!” From Student Services:Friday we will be hosting morning yoga from 8:00a – 8:30a in the gym. From Ms. Vogel:Reminder to all students – tote bags and backpacks – even small ones – are not allowed in the classroom. Put them in your lockers after announcements today.
