Today is a B Day!
Special announcement:
Ms. Taylor: Today’s National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week® Fact: Do you know what Narcan is? With the help of Narcan, many individuals who suffer an overdose do not die. Narcan is a lifesaving medication, that works to reverse an opioid overdose. All APS staff members are trained to administer in the event of an opioid related emergency. Today during each of the lunches, we will be playing substance abuse trivia for lunch with trivia wheel.
From Madame Moran: There will be no Fiber Arts Club on Monday, April 1, the first day after break. We will see you all on Monday, April 8th instead! Thank you!
From Ms. Wall: The Library will be closed after school today. Stay tuned after the Morning Announcements for the book trailer video of the 8 books competing in today’s round of Jefferson’s Battle of the Books. After you are reminded about the Elite 8 books, go to Canvas and Vote. Choose the books you liked better, or the books you would more like to read. The link to vote will be in your Canvas Inbox, in today’s TA lesson, and as the QR code at the end of the book video. Everyone should vote separately because every vote counts. Polls close at 4pm today. Come to the Library to check out or put a hold on all 16 books…or go to Sora!
From Ms. Wall: If you got a reminder that you have an overdue library book last week, we hope you remembered to bring it to school today. If you have it, please return your overdue book to the library right after morning announcements. If you forgot it today, make a reminder so you will bring it tomorrow! If it is lost, please come discuss it with us in the library. Overdues won’t just disappear—you need to follow through and take care of the problem.
