Morning Announcements March 11, 2024

Today is an A Day!

From Ms. Wall, Ms. Z, Ms. Rosegrant, and your Reading Teachers: Thanks to everyone who voted in Friday’s Battle of the Books.vFriday’s winners were Boys in the boat by Daniel James Brown, Inheritance games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Simon sort of says by Erin Bow, and Mascot by Charles Waters and Traci Sorell.  These books move on to the next round, on Friday, March 22nd.

If any of the 16 books you heard about last week sound good, please come to the Library to check one out—or look for digital books on Sora!

 

The Regional Science Fair took place on March 7. Students (grades 6-12) from Alexandria, Falls Church, and Arlington, both public and private schools, competed.  These Jefferson students placed:
