ANNOUNCEMENTS Today is a B Day.

From Mr. Clark:  JIBMUN is pronounced “jib” “mun” Good morning TJMS,The JIBMUN Club participated in another Model UN conference this past weekend and three of our Yellow Jackets took home awards: Nathan Relerford-Smith and Henry Conrad took Verbal Commendations in their respective committees, and Meerub Rana won Outstanding Delegate in her committee. There were almost 500 delegates in the conference so these three showed the incredible talent that TJMS has! So please congratulate these fellow Yellow Jackets for representing TJMS so well. Finally, our Club always accepts any student interested in joining, so drop by room 80 and talk to Mr. Clark about JIBMUN. Have a great week!

From Coach Detweiler and Coach Ammon, The girls soccer team crushed Gunston yesterday 3-0. Shea Miller scored with an assist from Olivia Guerra, Dru Kukawa and Olivia Guerra co-scored for a scramble at the goal, and Dru scored with an assist from Logan Fry. Defenders Wren Gable, Grace Detweiler, Camille Sota-Ortiz, and Delaney Brundige played flawless defense, and goalies Talia and Aurora had shut outs. Great job girls soccer team. The last soccer game is today at home against Williamsburg. Come out and support girls soccer! Now here’s Mr. Malinosky:

From Mr. Appanah: Students:There are a lot of lost clothes, water bottles, and more on the lost and found shelves in the cafeteria.  Please come look for and pick up your lost items today!

From your SCA: Starting on Monday December 4 to December 12 we will be selling Candy grams that you get for a friend, teacher, or special someone for a $1 during lunch. You will be able to choose from one of four messages and write your own message too. The candy grams will be delivered on Wednesday, December 20. Our first Jefferson Dance of the school year will be Tuesday, December 19 in the back of the gym from 2:45-4:05pm. We will have food, drinks and music. Dress will causal and will be selling tickets on Thursday and Friday, December 13-14 during lunch for $1 Get a candy gram and buy a ticket to the dance. Thank you!

From Mrs. Holland Shuford, For students interested in participating in the TJMS Science Fair in January, but needed support. There will be science fair workshops held on Monday and Wednesday after school in room 268 for November and December. Bring your iPad and any questions about the science fair.

This year the theme is “I am hopeful because….” Start thinking about how you can express yourself through visual art, literature, music, film, photography, or dance!
