ANNOUNCEMENTS Today is an Anchor Day.

From Ms. Wall: TAB Club meets today during lunches!  Passes will be delivered to TA teachers.  Bring your lunch, your iPad, and any signed permission slips you have to the library.  The Library is only open for TAB during lunches. The Library is closed after school for a staff meeting.

From Ms. Dunbar, Ms. Waring, and Ms. Ayoub: Reading Buddies meets THIS FRIDAY right after school in Room 260. It is not too late to join us! Permission forms are still available in the Library, but they MUST be returned by Friday for you to participate. We had a blast with the Fleet first graders two Fridays ago. Consider joining the fun!

From Mr. Clark: Good morning TJMS, The Jefferson IB Model UN Club is having another fundraising today after the last bell. Come to the gold section of the cafeteria and grab some chips and soda before heading home. As always, we will have student-friendly prices and a great selection. Again, come down to the gold side of the cafeteria and grab a snack before leaving. See you there!

From Mrs. Holland Shuford,  For students interested in participating in the TJMS Science Fair in January, but needed support. There will be science fair workshops held on Monday and Wednesday after school in room 268 for November and December. Bring your iPad and any questions about the science fair.

From Ms. Jenks: Hello, Yellow Jackets! The PTA Reflections contest is back! This year the theme is “I am hopeful because….” Start thinking about how you can express yourself through visual art, literature, music, film, photography, or dance! From Ms. Wall: Study Hall is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school in the Library. If you would like a quiet place to get your homework done before you go home, please come to the Library right after school and sign in.  A teacher will be here to help, and the Library is open until 3:30pm.  You can walk home or get picked up then, or you can then go wait for the late bus in the commons with Mr. Siegel.
