ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is a B Day.

From Ms Dunbar:Garden Club will meet today rain or shine. If rain, we will meet indoors again. There are many seeds to plant for the light tables, and seedlings to thin and divide.

Now here’s a special announcement:Stress has been linked to substance use. If someone has a hard time coping with stress, it may play a role in their use of drugs or alcohol. Teens can learn to use healthy coping strategies to help build resilience in response to challenging circumstances and events. For suggestions on how to cope or a listening ear, speak with your School Counselor. After voting in the battle of the books, compete with your classmates in the “Coping with Stress” Kahoot Game.

From Ms. Burton:Students, during lunch today the Teen Network Board of Arlington will have a table to discuss drug prevention and have little giveaways.

From: Ms. T, Mr. Banach, and Ms. GomezAttention all Band, Orchestra, and Chorus students:Please bring your Spring Trip Forms and Money to the theatre lobby immediately after morning announcements

From your PTA:Please mark your calendar for our next Restaurant night at Lost Dog (2920 Columbia Pike) on Tuesday March 28, 11:00 am to 10pm. Lost Dog will donate 10% of all participating orders to raise funds for PTA programs that benefit our school community. Don’t forget to mention Thomas Jefferson Middle School PTA.

From Jefferson Facilities:Please check downstairs in the Lost and Found today!  There are lots of jackets, lunchboxes, and more.  Items still there will be donated over spring break!

From Ms. Egbert:”There will be NO Anime club today. See you next week!”

From Ms. Wall:If you brought in any of your overdue library books, please bring them to the library this morning.
