Today is an A Day.
From your PTA:Please mark your calendar for our next Restaurant night at Lost Dog (2920 Columbia Pike) tomorrow, Tuesday March 28, 11:00 am to 10pm. Lost Dog will donate 10% of all participating orders to raise funds for PTA programs that benefit our school community. Don’t forget to mention Thomas Jefferson Middle School PTA.
From Jefferson Facilities:Please check downstairs in the Lost and Found today! There are lots of jackets, lunchboxes, and more. Items still there will be removed and donated after this Friday! Congratulations to Lily Snider, who was a winner in the Virginia state Reflections contest. Lily won an Award of Excellence in Film! She was one of only 5 Arlington students who placed at the state level.
From Ms. McPhillips:Congratulations to the student who participated in the regional Odyssey of the Mind tournament on Saturday. Ellie Kerbs-Glyer and Henry Blanton competed in the vehicle problem and placed 2nd. Liam Eberly, Maddie Roark, Lilly Rizzi and Logan Fry competed in the balsa structure problem and placed 1st. Liam, Maddie, Lilly and Logan will go on to compete in state finals in April!
From Ms. Wall:If you brought in any of your overdue library books, please bring them to the library this morning.
From the Library and your reading teachers:The winners of our Final Four Battles of the Books are Invisible by Christina Diaz Gonzalez (which won in a very close battle) and Good girl’s guide to murder by Holly Jackson. This Friday will be the Championship match between these two strong contenders. Which book do you think will win?
