Today is an A Day.

From Ms. Campbell:ACCESS testing for EL students continues today beginning at 8:30am. Students who took the Listening and Reading tests last week will take the Writing test today. Please report to your testing location at the end of TA.Your testing location can be found in your Canvas email or from your TA teacher.

From Ms. Tyler:Don’t forget today there is Jazz Band after school from 2:40 to 4:00 in the band room!

From Ms. Bennett:TJMS Writers and Artists: Now that the first semester is over, it’s time for the Winter edition of the Jefferson Journal of Art and Writing! If you have poems, stories, art, photography, or other work you are proud of from this semester and want to publish, please share it with the world! To submit your work you can go to tinyurl.com/TJMSlit and click “submit your work” or you can send it to Ms. Bennett at Katlyn.bennett@apsva.us. Submissions for the winter edition are due on Friday February 10.

From Ms. Wall and Ms. Rosegrant:TAB Club members:If you didn’t get your permission slip yesterday for our All-TAB author visit, please come get one from the Library today!

From Coach Busby,Congratulations to the boy’s basketball team for their victory over Dorthey Ham on Tuesday, 46-32. The team played a great game start to finish with a great rebounding performance from Jawuan Tyler. The next game is today at Swanson.

From Ms. Dunbar and Ms. Waring:Reading Buddies meets TOMORROW, and every Friday in February. If you are hoping to join us for Community Project action plan purposes, please please please RETURN YOUR PERMISSION FORM to Ms. Dunbar during TA today or tomorrow. If you are interested in taking ACT II classes for the 2nd semester, please pick up a form today from the ACT II teacher OR the counseling suite. ACT II will start on Feb. 6th.
