Today is an Anchor Day with A electives for 6th graders.

From Ms. Dunbar:Garden Club starts this Friday. No permission forms necessary. We meet outside at the Little Blue Shed from 2:40 to 3:40. We will be harvesting for the Arlington Food Assistance Center, and planting Fall flowers.

From Ms. Riley:It’s audition time! Auditions for the TJMS Fall Play, Shakesplosion!!!, will be tomorrow, Thursday September 15 from 2:40-5:00 in the auditorium. If you are interested in trying out, then you will need to get an audition packet. The audition packet will give you all the information you need to prepare for audition. You can get an audition packet either from Ms. Riley or from the bulletin board in the Music and Drama Hallway. Any questions see Ms. Riley.

From Ms. Detweiler:

• Soccer tryouts for 7th and 8th grade girls will be held on Wednesday 9/14.

Now here’s a special announcement: Hello! My name is Crow, and I am here from the GSA, or Gay-Straight Alliance, telling you to come on down! GSA starts on Thursday, October 6th in room 206, Ms. Calhoun’s room. Everyone is welcome, we obviously don’t discriminate, whether you’re queer, questioning, or straight!But.We do have a bit of a problem.We have 1 straight person. One. It’s called the gay-straight alliance.You can see how that might be a bit of a problem!So please, if you’re straight and you have free time on Thursdays, please come on down! Whether you want to learn about the community, or just be there to support, you’ll be very welcome, so I hope to see you there!
