September 21st is designated by the United Nations as the International Day of Peace.  Today is a day for all of us to commit to peace.  This year’s theme is: End Racism. Build Peace.  We all have a role to play in fostering peace.  Tackling racism is a crucial way to contribute to this effort.  What can you do today to help build a culture of peace?

From Ms. Egbert:”Do you enjoy reading manga? Are you really into anime? Would you like a space to share these interests with your fellow Yellowjackets? If so, join the Anime Club! We meet on Fridays in room 234 from 2:40 to 3:40. This Friday, we will be voting on what series we want to watch or read this year. All are welcome!”

From Ms. Wall:Study hall has begun.  Every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, students can come right after school to the Library to get help with your homework.  Subject teachers will be there to make sure you understand your assignments and to help you.  Sign in at the counter. Study hall ends at 3:30pm.  You can get picked up, walk home, or wait downstairs for the late bus!
