Today is an A Day.
From Ms. Russo:Join us for Game Groups today during 6th and 7th grade lunch! Choose from Uno, Pictionary, Apples to Apples, Kids Against Maturity, and more!!We will meet every Thursday in Room 106.Come get a pass from Ms. Black or Ms. Russo. Everyone is welcome!
From Ms. Dunbar:This week in Garden Club we will be preparing small packets of pollinator seeds as give-aways for the Harvest Fest Garden Table. We will need lots of tiny fingers to process tiny seeds! Don’t worry, there will still be time to get into the garden for the usual chores and explorations. But we do need your help tomorrow after school, by the Little Blue Shed, outside Door #4.
From Ms. Riley:Calling all Yellowjackets who are interested in joining the Tech Crew for the fall play, Shakesplosion. We are looking for a handful of more crew members. If you are interested in joining the Tech Crew, please see Ms. Riley for the application form as soon as possible. Tech Crew applications are due on Monday 10/17. There are only a few spots open so make sure you stick to the deadline. Being organized and responsible are the most important traits for a Tech Crew member!
From Ms. Burton:Did you know spreading rumors is considered bullying? Let’s talk about how to squash rumors. If you hear gossip or rumors, you can help stop the rumor in its tracks and not let it go further. You might say something like
- “That sounds like a rumor to me”
- “You don’t have proof of that.”
- “You don’t know if that’s true.”
- “That sounds like something you should talk about with the person involved.”
Be sure you figure out some way to stay away from rumors and gossip.
From Mr. J Anderson: Picture make up day is Friday, October 14th! If you did not take your picture or want to take a new one, please report to the theater during your assigned time. The schedule will be posted on the TA canvas page.
From Ms. Burton:Students,Today is the last day to return your ACT II form to Ms. Burton or the ACT II teacher. Limited slots are still available.
The K-pop club is starting on Monday, October 17, in Mr. Anderson’s classroom, room 266. In the dragon’s area. Again it is in Mr. P Anderson’s room. Meeting every other Monday. If you want to join the K-pop club, please pick up a permission slip from the Library.

Please mark your calendar for our next Restaurant night at Pupatella (5104 Wilson Blvd) on Tuesday October 25, 11:30 am to 9pm. Pupatella will donate 20% of all participating orders to raise funds for PTA programs that benefit our school community.
