ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is a B Day.

From your PTA:Today is our next Restaurant night at Lost Dog (2920 Columbia Pike) from 11:00 am to 10pm. Lost Dog will donate 10% of all participating orders to raise funds for PTA programs that benefit our school community. Don’t forget to mention Thomas Jefferson Middle School PTA.

From Jefferson Facilities:Please check downstairs in the Lost and Found today!  There are lots of jackets, lunchboxes, and more.  Items still there will be removed and donated after this Friday!

From Ms. T, Mr. Banach, and Ms. Gomez:Congratulations to the TJMS Music students who participated in the Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser.  Our fundraiser reached 492 supporters in 171 cities and 31 states. 276 donations were made to brighten the day of Essential Workers around the country.And now for the final tally:The TJMS Music Department sold $23,126 worth of popcorn and raised $11,563 for the Music Department’s Spring Trips and other music program needs.Thank you to the music students, staff members, and Jefferson community for making our Double Good fundraiser so POP-ular!

From Ms. Wall:If you brought in any of your overdue library books, please bring them to the library this morning.

From the Library and your reading teachers:The winners of our Final Four Battles of the Books are Invisible by Christina Diaz Gonzalez (which won in a very close battle) and Good girl’s guide to murder by Holly Jackson.  This Friday will be the Championship match between these two strong contenders.  Which book do you think will win?
