ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is an A Day.

From Ms. T and Ms. Tyler: The Jefferson Jazz Band is starting up soon! We are looking for ANY Jefferson students who play piano, guitar, and bass to join our jazz band! Students who play brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments are also encouraged to join, but you must already be in band with Ms. T to be in jazz band. Auditions are today, Monday, December 12 and a sign-up sheet is on the band room door. See Ms. T for more information.

From your PTA:Today is our next Restaurant night at Wendy’s (3431 Columbia Pike) from now until 9pm. Wendy’s will donate 20% of all participating orders to raise funds for PTA programs that benefit our school community. Please don’t forget to mention Thomas Jefferson Middle School PTA when you order.

From Mr. Appanah:Students, please take a look at the lost and found shelves down in the lunchroom!  On the shelves are a lot of lunch boxes, water bottles, jackets, and other clothes that have been left all over the school.  If you’ve lost something valuable, please go ask in the main office.  Go look today!  This Friday December 16th is the last day things will be on the shelves.

From Ms. Wall and Ms. Rosegrant:Today is locker cleanout during TA after announcements.  Students should go to their lockers by grades—8th graders 8-8:10am, 7th graders 8:10-8:20am, and 6th graders 8:20-8:30am.  Please return any found library books to the library, throw away any trash or old lunches, and pack up extra jackets and clothes to take home.  TA teachers have been given lists of overdue books checked out to their students.  If students have any questions, they should come talk to us in the library.
