ANNOUNCEMENTS Today is an A Day.

Here’s a special announcement: Your Bright Choices Light Up Your Future. As Red Ribbon Week continues, consider the impact of your choices on the path ahead. By staying drug-free, you’re not only lighting up your present with health and positivity, but you’re also illuminating a future filled with opportunities and success. Keep making those bright choices! Tomorrow’s theme is Spook out Drugs! Let’s see your Halloween costumes!

From Mr. Carter: Math counts competition team will meet Tuesday 10/31 in room 255, Mr. Carter’s room. All grades and math abilities welcome!

From Ms. Dunbar, Ms. Waring, and Ms Ayoub: Reading Buddies is back for 2023-24!If you are interested in joining Reading Buddies, please pick up a permission form in the Library. We start our visits to Fleet Elementary First Grade THIS FRIDAY, November 3rd. We MUST have your permission slip in order for you to join us. Permission slips may be returned to the Library during TA all week long.

From Ms. Jenks: Hello, Yellow Jackets! The PTA Reflections contest is back! This year the theme is “I am hopeful because….” Start thinking about how you can express yourself through visual art, literature, music, film, photography, or dance! From Ms. Wall: Study Hall is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school in the Library. If you would like a quiet place to get your homework done before you go home, please come to the Library right after school and sign in.  A teacher will be here to help, and the Library is open until 3:30pm.  You can walk home or get picked up then, or you can then go wait for the late bus in the commons with Mr. Siegel.
