Morning Announcements November 6, 2023

Today is an A Day.

Remember that today is the last day of the quarter.  Tuesday is a grade-prep day—students should not come to school.  We’ll see you on Wednesday.

Tuesday is Election Day—encourage the adults in your life to vote and let their voices be heard!

“We have an important announcement for you today. It’s School Psychologist Week, and we want to take a moment to appreciate the valuable work that our school psychologist do. They are here to support you with any emotional or social challenges you might face, so don’t hesitate to reach out to Dr. Moncreiffe- Heath if you ever need someone to talk to. Let’s show our gratitude for her dedication and hard work this week!”

From Mrs. Holland Shuford, For students interested in participating in the TJMS Science Fair in January, but needed support. There will be science fair workshops held on Monday and Wednesday after school in room 268 for November and December. Bring your iPad and any questions about the science fair.

From Ms. Jenks: Hello, Yellow Jackets! The PTA Reflections contest is back! This year the theme is “I am hopeful because….” Start thinking about how you can express yourself through visual art, literature, music, film, photography, or dance! From Ms. Wall: Study Hall is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school in the Library. If you would like a quiet place to get your homework done before you go home, please come to the Library right after school and sign in.  A teacher will be here to help, and the Library is open until 3:30pm.  You can walk home or get picked up then, or you can then go wait for the late bus in the commons with Mr. Siegel.
