From Ms. Burton: Good morning, Yellowjackets! Today is World Kindness Day, a day dedicated to spreading positivity and making the world a better place. What can you do? Compliment your classmate, help someone in need, or simply share a smile. Small acts of kindness make a big impact. Remember, “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” Let’s make today unforgettable with our collective kindness!
From Mr. Carter: “Math Counts will meet Tuesday in Mr. Carter’s room, 255. We will be having our first practice competition, come ready to work! All grades and abilities welcome” Here is a video honoring TJMS Veteran Families, sponsored by the SCA.
From Mrs. Holland Shuford, For students interested in participating in the TJMS Science Fair in January, but needed support. There will be science fair workshops held on Monday and Wednesday after school in room 268 for November and December. Bring your iPad and any questions about the science fair.

This year the theme is “I am hopeful because….” Start thinking about how you can express yourself through visual art, literature, music, film, photography, or dance! From Ms. Wall: Study Hall is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school in the Library. If you would like a quiet place to get your homework done before you go home, please come to the Library right after school and sign in. A teacher will be here to help, and the Library is open until 3:30pm. You can walk home or get picked up then, or you can then go wait for the late bus in the commons with Mr. Siegel.
