Here’s a special announcement:  [Takecia Taylor] Fentanyl is a strong opioid that is 50-100 times more potent than morphine. Illicitly manufactured fentanyl looks just like many other drugs; however, it is commonly mixed with substances like heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine and made into counterfeit pills that resemble other prescription opioids. In 2023, DEA seized more than 79.5 million fentanyl-laced fake pills and nearly 12,000 pounds of fentanyl powder. The 2023 seizures are equivalent to more than 376.7 million lethal doses of fentanyl. Today during each of the lunches, we will be playing opioid trivia for lunch.
