Last Saturday at Alice Deal Middle School in Washington DC, our JIBMUN delegates took home two more awards! Please congratulate the following Yellow Jackets for their awards in their respective committees: Harper Horneman won Honorable Mention. And Meerub Rana won Best Delegate .Again, congratulations to these fellow Yellow Jackets for representing TJMS so well! Have a fantastic week and Spring Break!

From  Ms. Taylor: National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week® (NDAFW), an annual health observance week, which connects others and helps them understand the myths about drugs and alcohol, while bringing together a community conversation about the science of drug use and addiction amongst our youth. During this week, we will be providing drug and alcohol facts to help keep our APS community safe.

From Ms. Wall: If you got a reminder that you have an overdue library book last week, we hope you remembered to bring it to school today.  If you have it, please return your overdue book to the library right after morning announcements.  If you forgot it today, make a reminder so you will bring it tomorrow!  If it is lost, please come discuss it with us in the library.  Overdues won’t just disappear—you need to follow through and take care of the problem.
