The Arlington County Council of Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) recently announced the 2023-24 Reflections contest winners at the county level. Reflections is a contest and arts promotion program that encourages students to create works based on a common theme. This year’s theme was “I Am Hopeful Because…”Sami Wiriyotin won Awards of Merit in the Middle School Division for both Photography and Visual Arts. Congratulations, Sami!

From Mr. Ammon: The Phoenix Bikes club has room for 3 or 4 more students this semester. Club members learn how to repair bikes, and at the end of April members get to keep a bike that they repair themselves! To register for the club your parents must sign you up through Phoenix Bikes website. You can get the sign-up link from Mr. Ammon in room 55. The club can only have 12 students, and we only have a few spots left. We’ll start January 30 and meet on Tuesdays after school.
