Today is an A Day!

Here’s a special announcement: “Hi, I am Sarai with the SCA. The Winter Dance is tomorrow Tuesday, December 19. We will be in the back of the gym with music, food and drinks. Tickets will be on sale today and tomorrow during all lunches for $3 And I am Liya with the SCA. A reminder that tomorrow is wear your favorite PJs day and Wednesday is Twin Day/Iconic Duo Day. Finally, call candy canes will be delivered on Wednesday morning during TA. Thank you,”

From Ms. Riley: Calling all actors, singers and dancers. Or anyone who wants to have the most fun of their lives. Auditions for the TJMS Spring Musical, Mean Girls Jr. will be Thursday January 11. In order to audition, you needs to get an audition packet. The audition packet will have everything you need to get ready for the audition.  You can pick one up from Ms. Riley (Room 120) or Ms. Rosegrant in the Library. Every Yellowjacket is invited to audition. It will be so Fetch!

From your PTA: We have great news:  Chipotle at 1002 S. Glebe Rd. has partnered with Thomas Jefferson Middle School PTA for our next Restaurant Night tomorrow, Tuesday December 19th from 5 to 9pm!  Chipotle will donate back 33% of all participating orders to raise funds for TJMS PTA programs that benefit our school community.  Order online for pickup using CODE ELL2XTA, in the “Enter a Promo Code” section. Mrs. Holland Shuford,         For students interested in participating in the TJMS Science Fair in January, but needed support. There will be science fair workshops held on Monday and Wednesday after school in room 268 for November and December. Bring your iPad and any questions about the science fair.

This year the theme is “I am hopeful because….” Start thinking about how you can express yourself through visual art, literature, music, film, photography, or dance!
