Come to Dungeons and Dragons on Monday after school in room 63 downstairs. Can’t make it on Mondays? Let one of the club sponsors know! We might be adding another day if there’s enough interest.

From the 7th Grade Teachers Attention all 7th grade students:If you have your End-of-Year Field Trip packet and payment, please bring them to Mr. Busby’s room (Room 280) immediately after the morning announcements.

From Ms. TCongratulations to the 18 Jefferson students who performed at the District 12 Solo & Ensemble Festival this past Saturday at Cooper Middle School.  The French horn duet of Jaxon Lamothe and Desmond Fusarelli performed in exhibition.The Brass Quartet of Max Runyan, Jason Etue, Alan Glosh, and Xavier Martinez earned an EXCELLENT rating for their performanceThe following solos and duets earned SUPERIOR ratings. This is the highest possible rating available for music students.

Now here’s a special announcement:[Vardhini and Izzy]Vardhini- Hello, my name is VardhiniIzzy – and my name is Izzy. Vardhini, Ghita, Raina and I are donating to AFAC as a part of our community project.Vardhini – This is just a reminder that we are conducting a food drive from April 22nd to May 5th.Izzy – All you have to do is show your teacher you donated food. Your teacher will then provide you with a google form for you to complete out.Vardhini – TA teachers, please just keep the food in your TA. It will be collected during 8th grade lunch, which is 12:27 to 1:02 pm, by one of us four.BOTH – Thank you

Here’s another special announcement:Preston: Hi I’m Preston, the Student Council Advisory (SCA) President Chase: And I’m Chase, the SCA vice President  Preston: We’re here to announce the elections for the SCA 2025-2026 school year will be held this year. Chase: On Friday, May 2nd, we will have a SCA interest meeting on the gold side of the cafeteria during TA after the morning announcements. If you can’t come just make arrangements with Ms. Holland Shuford, Mr. Malinosky, or Mr. Siegel. Preston: The next step is to fill out your petition and get a combination of signatures from administrators, students, and teachers. Your petition is due next Friday, May 16. Chase: The following Friday, May 23, is when elections will be held. You will need to give a one minute speech on the announcements telling everyone what you want to do on the SCA. Preston: Everyone is encouraged to participate. Make sure you’re ready to help plan school events, have a voice in school decisions, and make the school a better place.  Both: Thank you.
