ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is a B Day.

From Mr. Malinosky and Mr. Siegel:Good Morning Everyone, The Student Council Advisory Steering Committee will meet today immediately after the announcements in the gold side of the cafeteria. This is for the students who are elected or were the only student to file for their team. Teachers, please check your email and send these students to the cafeteria, after the announcements.  The larger group of the SCA will be in the next couple weeks.

From Ms. Egbert:Anime Club is CANCELLED today, Friday 10/7. Ms. Egbert is on sick leave today. Again, anime club is cancelled today. We’ll see you next week!

From Ms. Dunbar: Garden Club meets TODAY! We will harvest veggies, continue collecting pollinator seeds, and look for helpful insects or earthworms! All are welcome; no experience necessary.

From Mr. Davis:“Congratulations to the tennis team for yesterday’s win! Mr. Siegel and I will get you the information on the rest of the season as soon as we get it from APS. If we do not reschedule, be prepared for practice on Tuesday and the tournament on Wednesday and Thursday.  If you have any other questions please stop by room 238 to speak with Mr. Davis.”

From Ms. McPhillips:There will not be an Odyssey of the Mind practice today. Our next practice will be next Friday after school. If you are interested in Odyssey of the Mind and not receiving emails about Odyssey through Canvas, please let Ms. McPhillips know so she can add you to the list.Thank you!

The K-pop club is starting on Monday, October 17, in Mr. Anderson’s classroom, room 266.  In the dragon’s area.  Again it is in Mr. P Anderson’s room.  Meeting every other Monday. If you want to join the K-pop club, please pick up a permission slip from the Library. Remember that Monday is a teacher work day.  There is no school for students.  We’ll see you back on Tuesday!

Thank you for coming to our first Restaurant Night of the school year at Los Chamacos! We were able to raise $157.35 for our school. Please mark your calendar for our next Restaurant night at Pupatella (5104 Wilson Blvd) on Tuesday October 25, 11:30 am to 9pm. Pupatella will donate 20% of all participating orders to raise funds for PTA programs that benefit our school community. Thanks and have a great day!
